The United States has revoked all visas issued to former House Speaker and Leyte 1st District Representative Martin Romualdez, including his diplomatic and tourist visas.
This was confirmed by Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez in a message shared with the media on Friday.
According to the ambassador, the U.S. government has officially cancelled all types of visas previously granted to his cousin. However, he said no further details have been provided regarding the decision.
“All I can say is it's confirmed. I don't have any details,” Ambassador Romualdez said when asked about the development.
As of writing, there has been no additional explanation from U.S. authorities regarding the revocation of the visas.
