LAGUNA, Philippines — Parts of Laguna province experienced an unscheduled power interruption Wednesday afternoon following an outage involving two 69-kilovolt transmission lines, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said.

The interruption, which was reported at 3:48 p.m. on August 19, affected areas served by the First Laguna Electric Cooperative (FLECO).

NGCP said the affected facilities were the Lumban-Famy 69-kV and Lumban-Caliraya 69-kV lines.

The grid operator said the root cause of the outage remained undetermined as of the issuance of the advisory.

NGCP asked affected consumers for their patience and understanding as the power interruption was being addressed.
