THE free Annual Physical Examination (APE) for public school teachers in the city has officially begun, a health service initiative spearheaded by Zambales 1st District Representative and Deputy Speaker Cong. Jay Khonghun as part of his health program for teachers.

The free medical examination was conducted in response to a request from the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Olongapo, led by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Imelda Macaspac.

The program aims to ensure the good health of teachers who teach, guide, and help shape the future of thousands of students in the city every day.

Khonghun emphasized the importance of prioritizing teachers’ health to help detect potential illnesses early and maintain their ability to properly perform their duties in schools.

For the lawmaker, teachers who serve as partners in shaping the future of young people deserve adequate support and access to health services.

The lawmaker’s health programs and other services for teachers and residents of Olongapo City and other areas of Zambales’ first district will continue.
